Things to do
Here are the things to do when you train people to test a primer:

  • Teach trainees the entire primer, modeling exactly how to teach the material. Notes
    • If the trainees were involved in the primer construction and are very familiar with it, you do not need to teach the entire primer.
    • If the trainees are already quite literate or are trained teachers, you can move quickly and teach several lessons in each training session.
  • As you teach the primer lessons to trainees, explain the reason for each part of the lesson and its importance.
  • Point out any special areas of concern in the primer.
  • Teach the trainees how to record reactions to the primer.
