Summary
	Shares experiences of using punctuation for tone marks in several African languages. Uses
	extra high high [unmarked] mid low, and mid-low falling tones.
	Places marks on monosyllabic languages with more than three tones. Teaches how to use nonsense syllables and then follow with minimal pairs in contrast. Had problems with symbolizing downstep and the tone used for grammatical information. Had questions about partial marking of tone ambiguities.

Evaluation
	Presents some interesting alternatives for marking tone (borrowed from Margrit Bolli, NOL 23).
