How to make sentence building cards

Here are the materials needed for sentence building cards:

• Large (about 8” x 8”) pieces of paper or other material to make sentence cards
• A long (about 6” x 1”) strip of paper or other material for each sentence card to make matching word cards

1. Rule lines on the large card.

2. Draw an illustration in each small box on the left side of the card.
3. Print a sentence related to the illustration on the top line beside each picture.
4. Print the same sentences on the strips.
5. Cut the sentence strips into individual words.
