Placing page and lesson numbers on a page

Here are some guidelines to follow when you place page and lesson numbers on a page:

• Number pages the way printers usually number them.

  • Place even page numbers on the left pages.
  • Place odd page numbers on the right pages.

• Place page numbers

  • at the bottom center of each page, or
  • at the bottom outside corner of each page. This makes it possible to view page numbers without having to fully open the book.

• Place lesson numbers

  • at the top of the first page of each lesson, or
  • at the top of each page of a book with lessons.
